Editing the Timesheets

Employee timesheets can be edited by someone with the appropriate security. The Time Keeping security is required to edit timesheets. This security can be assigned at the corporate or classification level, which limits the employee from editing outside of his/her classification. Employees, regardless of their level of Time Keeping security, cannot edit or approve their own time. An email notification will be sent to a user if their timesheet has been edited or changed.

Timekeeping Administrators can track every edit made to an employee’s timesheet.

Select the Approve Timesheets menu and choose the employee’s classification.



Choose the individual employee.

Click the View Audit Log menu.

From here every edit that has been made to that employee’s timesheet can be viewed. It will also show who made the change, as well as the date and time the edits were made.
