Geo-Location Services

A geo-location service allows a website to determine the geographic location associated with the IP Address of the computer connecting to the website. CSI Digital Banking uses the geo-location service to record the location of the Digital Banking connection for all requests in the system. Neither financial institution employees nor the financial institution’s customers see any change to the system as the geo-location services is used. The recording of the geographic location happens in the background. There are specific features of the CSI Digital Banking system that can be enabled that use the geo-location service information, including: Whitelisting, Blacklisting, ACH warning, and various reports.
