Over Cap

This is the page that the employee is directed to when clicking the link in the over cap email.

User Information section

The user’s information at the top contains information about the user, a link to calculate their current points, and another link that allows the employee to view that specific user’s settings.

Over Cap section

Displays detailed information about the over cap session, their points, and cap.

  • Update Status: this option allows users to set the status of the session. By default, all sessions are set to None. Clicking the Update Status link will cause a dropdown to appear that allows the user to set the status to None, Under Review, and Reviewed.
    • None: indicates that the status has not yet been changed. An employee name is not displayed since no employee has taken action yet.
    • Last Edited: indicates that a status of Reviewed or Under Review was previously assigned but the status was changed to None. The name of the employee who updated to this status will also be displayed.
    • Under Review: indicates an employee is reviewing the activity and has not yet determined its validity. The name of the employee who updated to this status will also be displayed.
    • Reviewed Fraudulent/Valid: indicates an employee already reviewed the activity and determined it was either fraudulent or valid and marked it as such. The name of the employee who updated to this status will also be displayed.

Changing the status will cause the new value to be displayed in all status fields for the session throughout FAD. This field is an indicator field for the bank that allows them to see which sessions have been reviewed; changing the status of a session does nothing towards the user’s points.

Note: Please note that statuses on Over Cap/Over the Limit are not carried over to Sessions and vice versa. They are considered separate entities, each with a unique status that can be updated.

Sessions section

The Session section of the page displays the Start Time of the session, the Review Status of the section, the number of Activities in the session, the number of Details in the session, the Starting Point Value of the session, the Total Points Earned in the session, the Authentication method and result, and whether the session was Over Cap. The Total Point Earned value is for the total points earned that contributed to the user going over their cap, the user may have accumulated more points but only these points caused the user to go over their cap.

The Session Status will display one of the following:

  • Fraudulent Session: Indicates an employee has marked the session as fraudulent. The name of the employee who updated the session will also be displayed.
  • Valid Session: Indicates an employee has marked the session as valid. The name of the employee who updated the session will also be displayed.
  • Viewed: Indicates an employee has viewed the session but has not marked it as fraudulent or valid yet. The name of the employee who viewed the session will be displayed.
  • Blank: Indicates a session that has not yet been viewed.

Items display in descending order with the most recent sessions at the top and the oldest sessions at the bottom of the page. Choose to view 10, 20, or 50 sessions per page.

  • Total Points: Includes all activities performed during the session and all contributing activities and details are also logged when viewing session information.
  • When the View Session button is clicked, the user is directed to the Session View window that displays information about the session including activities and details. Opening this window causes the Session Status value to change to Viewed.
  • When Highlight Session is clicked, the session will be highlighted in light blue along with the contributing activities and details for the session. This makes it easier for users to see which contributing activities and details make up a session.

Once a session is highlighted, the link is renamed Remove Highlight. Users can click the Remove Highlight link to remove the highlight or the highlighting will be removed when highlighting is added to another session.

  • Comments: Click the Comments link to edit or delete comments. When editing a comment, save changes with the Update Comment button or use the Cancel button to discard changes. Comments made by Internet Services Support using the override will display "CSI Employee" as the username.

Users can add comments by entering the desired data and pressing the Comment button. The comments are then displayed in the Comments grid in order by date and time with the most recent at the top..

Once comments are added the Comments link includes a number next to it that indicates the number of comments for the session.

  • Reset: Reset the status of a session after it has been marked as fraudulent or valid. Once a session is reset, it can be marked as desired. The “Reset” option only displays for sessions that have already been marked as valid or fraudulent. Sessions must be reset before the status can be changed.

Contributing Activities section

The Contributing Activities section lists the Activity Name, the Points that were added for the activity, the Time Added, the Origination page, and the Authentication method and whether it was passed.
