Searching for a Customer

  1. Go to ‘Security’ >> ‘Customers’ tab.

All fields above are valid search options; however the Username is not a valid search criteria until the customer successfully logs in for the first time.

Example: "JSmith" is converted from your previous system. If the user has not logged in for the first time on the CSI system, you will not be able to successfully locate the user by searching the Username field for "JSmith." Alternatively, you will need to use one of the other search options (Name, TIN, Email Address, etc.) to locate the user. After you enter your search criteria click the green Search button.

Search results will be displayed:

NOTE: How to tell if a user has logged in or not:

User Abby Smith HAS successfully completed login. Her User Name is populated, the Invite status is "Verified," and there is a green check mark in the Status column.

User Aileen Smith is a converted user that HAS NOT logged in yet. The User Name field is blank for Aileen, the invite status says Unverified, and the status column is blank.
