Automatic Wire Processing

This functionality will automatically send approved wires from Digital Banking to WatchDOG® Wire. Both International and Domestic wires can be automatically submitted to WatchDOG Wire with just the user’s approval. This will save you time and eliminate the need to approve each wire in both Digital Banking and WatchDOG Wire.

Enabling Automatic Wire Processing for Your Bank

  • Automatic Wire Processing is available to WatchDOG Wire banks at no additional charge. Please contact CSI Customer Service to enable this feature.

How Automatic Wire Processing Works

  1. After this feature has been enabled, all successfully approved wires will be transmitted to WatchDOG Wire on the scheduled date.
  2. Once the wire is sent, emails are sent to the Administrator and User to notify them when the item will be approved.
  3. Wires will then be displayed in both Digital Banking and WatchDOG Wire.

Wire Processing Timeline

Digital Banking transmits the wire based on two factors:

  • Schedule: Is the wire going to be sent immediately (Now) or is it scheduled for a future date (Future)?
  • Approval: Wires must be approved before they can be automatically sent.

Once a Wire is scheduled for the current date AND it has been approved, the wire will be sent to WatchDOG Wire.

After the Wire is Processed

Once the wire has been processed, it will be displayed:

  • On the Outbound Wires list in WatchDOG Wire.

  • In the user’s Wire History with the status Completed.

  • On the Cash main-tab, Wires History sub-tab in Digital Banking Administration.

Wire Processing Notification Emails

Separate Process Notification Emails will be sent to both the Bank Administrator and the User, notifying them that the wire has been processed.

Automatic Processing Exceptions

Wires that cannot be automatically transmitted will require further attention. You can find these wires on the Cash >> Manage Wires tab. Once the issue has been resolved, it must be manually submitted to WatchDOG Wire.

Wires will not be transmitted to WatchDOG Wire automatically:

  • If the wire amount is sent as a foreign currency. An Administrator must manually enter the exchange rate.
  • If there is a WatchDOG Wire outage. The wire will be listed with a warning indicator on the Current Wire Requests list. When a mouse pointer passes over the indicator, the message "Automatic Staging Failed" will be displayed.
